Memories of Mine–Week 1 {Tomball, TX Children’s Photographer}

At the end of this year I took some time to clean off my hard drive…you know, hoping that everything will run a little faster.  You know you need your Facebook to open lighting speed!  After I finished backing up and transferring the many, many 2011 ECP sessions, I went to work on our personal photos.  When I opened them up my heart broke a little.  There were several months that did not contain ANY photos.  No photos, how can that be!  I mean true I have a few iPhone photos from each month but no “big” camera photos??  Seriously, it breaks my heart even typing this.  I let my family get the back burner.  Somehow in the midst of capturing memories for others, I let my own fall between the cracks.

Well this is a year of change.  This year I will pull out that “big” camera and record those memories!  I am going to be doing a 52 week personal photography project geared towards my families everyday activities.  Won’t you join me in your own 52 week project.  You won’t regret those precious memories that you capture and your camera skills will probably improve with all the practice!

“Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have captured is captured forever… It remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.”— Aaron Siskind
